Accessibility Statement

Bold&Grit is committed to making boldandgrit.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification and other assistive technologies. We believe every athlete and every family should be able to browse, choose and buy our leotards and activewear without barriers.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and are the standard referenced by most accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Where we are today

In September 2026 we completed an accessibility audit of boldandgrit.com covering the home page, product collections, product pages, the cart, the blog and our custom and wholesale pages.

The audit combined an automated review of the site against the WCAG 2.2 rules with a manual review of the main shopping tasks using only a keyboard.

Many parts of the site already work well with assistive technologies: the site can be navigated with a keyboard, a “skip to content” link is available on every page, product options and quantity controls are labeled, and the menu can be opened, browsed and closed without a mouse.

We also found areas that need work, and we are correcting them. The improvements in progress include: clearer feedback for screen reader users when a product is added to the cart, consistent labeling of the navigation menu and the collection filters, stronger color contrast on some labels and buttons, and text descriptions for every image. We review progress on these items regularly and update this page as the work is completed.
